KX-TAW Series
Analog Wireless System The KX-TAW
Advanced Hybrid system is a small business or larger
home communications system answering the needs of a user
who feels Multi-cell wireless is the solution. The
KX-TAW848 handles a maximum of 8 incoming telephone
lines and it's modular design allows you to tailor the
system to meet your specific requirements. The KX-TAW848
combines versatile wired telephone system features with
the expanded functionality of advanced multi-cell
wireless technology to meet the needs of today's upscale
residential, SOHO and small business environments.
Due to its limited capabilities Comvox Systems
generally resells the KX-TAW848 system to non certified
Panasonic dealers and technically capable end-users for
self installation. The main reason we rarely
install the analog KX-TAW848 is that the digital based
twelve line KX-TDA50 offers so much more flexibility and
many more features for not a great deal more money.
However, you can rest assure that the
KX-T7700 and multi-cell
wireless telephones that you purchase for the TAW can
easily be adapted to a TDA series unit when you grow
beyond the maximum eight line capacity.
|
 |
Small: The
KX-TAW848 control unit is initially configured with 4
hybrid extension ports and 4 loop start CO ports, Power
Supply, RS232 port, USB port, MOH port, Paging port and
an SD card. This system is expandable to 8 COs and 28
extension ports. The 28 extension ports can support a
combination 51 wired and wireless extensions. This
system uses the KX-T7700
series analog Panasonic Proprietary Telephones only.
Features: Multi-cell wireless, pc-based
programming, automatic route selection (ARS), toll
restriction, caller ID ANI and CNIP, voice mail
integration, compatible with
KX-T7700
series telephones and SLT, and Direct Inward
System Access (DISA). |

KX-TA Series
Advanced Hybrid Analog
System KX-TA Series
telephone systems have always generally been more basic
in functionality, and are geared towards the
cost-conscious buyer who wants a telephone system
without being a business tool for growth. The analog
systems offer the same wonderful reliability as the
legendary digital products. The analog KSUs are a great
alternative for consumers who are in need of a world
class phone system, but do not require the advanced
features of the digital systems. The analog systems will
allow integration of the 7000 or
7700 Series multi-line analog system phones, as well
as any Single Line analog Telephone (SLT). It is worth
noting that the KX-TA Series is not capable of being
remotely programmed and maintained. These systems are
targeted towards the do-it yourselfer on a budget.
The analog KX-TA824 is suited for a small and medium
sized business, SOHO and larger home applications.
Anyone who requires a telephone system that is generally
more basic in functionality, and geared towards the
extremely cost-conscious buyer, the Panasonic KX-TA824
is the worthy of your consideration. It is a great
system if the advanced features and flexibility of the
digital systems are not required by the user. The
KX-TA824 replaced the KX-TA624 and is similar in every
way but with more advanced features and the addition of
two CO line capacity increase.
Due to its limited capabilities Comvox Systems
generally resells the KX-TA824 system to non certified
Panasonic dealers and technically capable end-users for
self installation. The main reason we rarely
install the analog KX-TA824 is that the digital based
twelve line KX-TDA50 offers so much more flexibility and
many more features for not a great deal more money.
However, you can rest assure that the KX-T7700
telephones that you purchase for the TA can easily be
adapted to a TDA series unit when you grow beyond the
maximum eight line capacity.
|
 |
Small: The
Panasonic KX-TA824 is one of the best solutions for
smaller businesses that do not require the advanced
digital features associated with the KX-TDA series, but
still require the option of further expansion and
growth. The KX-TA824 is initially configured for 3 COs,
8 stations and up to two additional expansion boards can
be plugged in to accommodate growth for a maximum
configuration of 8 COs, 24 stations. The KX-TA824
integrates the
KX-TVA50 Voice Processing System
or can be used with a optional "in-skin" voice mail
board. |

KX-TD Digital Series
Phone Systems
First introduced in
the in the mid-1990s the KX-TD series of Digital Hybrid
systems was discontinued in 2006 in favor of the less
expensive, feature rich KX-TDA line. We had
installed and still support hundred of these highly
reliable TD series systems.
The KX-TD Digital Series Telephone Systems were the
most robust and feature rich systems in their class. For
over a decade, the KX-TD Series was Panasonic's flagship
line. Features that made these telephone systems unique,
included the capacity to remotely program and maintain
these systems from anywhere via a PC. The KX-TD Series
systems came in a complete range of sizes. The
KX-TD1232, KX-TD816 and the KX-TD308 came very highly
recommended for business applications when
sophistication, versatility, dependability, and
performance were top priorities.
Comvox Systems generally stocks replacement units,
boards and accessories for the KX-TD digital line.
